Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Gabriel emigrated to the States in his late teens along with his family. Being the son of missionary/preacher parents, he was constantly serving with them in their ministry from a young age.
He found his passion for music when he learned how to “play drums” at the age of 6 by watching his uncle play for church and he would use a few chairs in front of him as drums to play along.
… eventually he did get to play drums for church.
At age 12 he then picked up his father’s acoustic guitar which begin a love for the guitar that continued to evolve as the years went by. First the acoustic then the electric and even bass guitar, music just became the way he would express his heart.
He eventually ended up serving on staff at a great ministry in Tennessee where he served as the Media and Creative Arts director and later on he took over the whole Worship Team.
This is where his other passion as a story teller through photography, design and film started to flourish.
Tennessee is also where he found the love of his life, Laura. They got married and now have a beautiful son together and are enjoying parenthood.
Gabe currently lives in North Carolina with his family. He loves to play with his son and go out for delicious food with Laura.
He also loves to share his passion of Music with the world, read books and watch a bunch of how-to videos if they have anything to do with music, storytelling and anything creative.
